With a simple Union flag attached to the front of the office, Stafford Perkins marked the passing of 80 years since Victory in Europe was declared. Since then we have enjoyed 80 years of peace and freedom in our country, paid for by the sacrifice of all those who laid down their lives for us.
As the world moves forward into an uncertain future, we must never forget what they gave and we must be ready to stand up to attacks on our freedom, from all directions.
